Dr. Kyrsten Landry
Owner & Veterinarian

Dr. Kyrsten Landry graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2021. She spent many hours here as a student, and has been a part of the Westmorland team for the past 5 years. Dr. Landry has been dreaming of becoming a veterinarian since she was a little girl and loves meeting and caring for all of the furry babies who come through our doors as if they’re her own. Dr. Landry shares her life with her husband Kirk and their son Noah. They also have a sweet kitty named Belle who is very spoiled, and a beautiful golden retriever Bonnie who is the best big sister ever and is never far from Noah's side. Any free time that comes her way is spent with her family and she could spend hours at her family cottage, curled up with her kitty, a good book and a glass of wine! 

Dr. Diane Stephens
Veterinarian

Dr. Stephens graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in 1995.  She has been involved in large animal and small animal medicine, but her specialty is treating dogs and cats. Diane has over 30 years of clinical experience and has perfected the ability to put pets at ease. Diane and her husband Jeff live in a beautiful old farmhouse just outside of Amherst and she shares her passion for animals with him as well as their two beautiful daughters, Emily and Olivia. Her family is completed by her three Rescue Cats, Kreacher, Martie and Maurice and is always open to taking in more that need a home or to be fostered! When not caring for her furry patients, Diane's favorite place to be is at her cottage where she searches for sea glass or can be found on the water paddleboarding and soaking up the sun.

Dr. Hope Fitzpatrick
Veterinarian
Dr. Hope Fitzpatrick is originally from New Jersey and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in May of 2026. She has a deep passion for animals of all types and sizes, with a special interest in small animals and wildlife. Currently Dr. Fitzpatrick does not have any pets but is hoping to bring a little fur baby into her family soon. In her free time, she likes to go to the beach, travel to PEI, crochet and read! She is excited to be a part of our team and meet our wonderful patients and their loving families!
Samantha
Co-owner and Head Technician

Samantha, affectionately known as Sam, is our head veterinary technician.  She graduated from Oulton's veterinary technician course in June of 2014, and has been at Westmorland since November, 2014.  She shares a cozy home in Sackville with her partner Jon and two bouncy English springer spaniels, Lily and Maverick. Sam also has two cats, Piper, and Lip. Sam's nurturing personality and love for animals comes through in her work, where every pet is greeted and adored like one of her own. On her off time Sam loves to kayak, camp with her dogs and travel, especially somewhere warm and sunny!

Alysha
Registered Veternary Technician / Assistant Office Manager

Alysha is one of our registered veterinary technicians and assistant office manager.  She graduated from Oulton College in June of 2016 and passed her national exam in July of 2016.  She started her practicum with us and has been part of our work family ever since.  She shares a small farm with her husband Brady and daughters Scarlett and Evelyn in Southampton, NS, where she is busy caring for her beef cattle, sheep, chickens, and her goat Gretchen. Alysha has four rescue cats, Jack, Percy, Elmer and Roger; and two Australian cattle dogs, Ruger and Colt and a rabbit named Rosie. This passion for animals translates into her work, where she always makes the time to provide the very best one-on-one care our clients and their pets. Alysha enjoys spending time outside on their farm with her family, as well as grown and raising their own food. 

Alexis Prentice
Registered Veterinary Technician

Alexis is a Registered Veterinary Technician with over six years of experience in veterinary medicine, including emergency and urgent care. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care while making every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible! She is excited to be a part of the Westmorland team, and get to build relationships with all of our patients and their families. Outside of the clinic, Alexis enjoys spending time with her Italian Greyhound, Goose, and her two cats, exploring the outdoors, and making the most of time with family and friends.

Jillian
Veterinary Assistant

Jill is a Veterinary Assistant here at Westmorland, she got her degree from Oulton College in 2019 and has been part of our team ever since. Jill is from Amherst and lives there with her husband Josh and son Colson. Their little family also includes their bulldog mix Axel and two cats Billy, and Waylon. Jill is known at the clinic for her ability to connect with clients and her sense of humor that always lightens the room for a stressed owner. In her free time Jill enjoys adventuring outside with her family or playing softball.

Sue Bowes
Office Manager

Sue moved to Sackville from England when she was 16 years old, and after a brief stint working in Fredericton, returned to this small community that she calls home.  She joined the clinic after a number of interesting careers, including wetland biologist and outdoor educator.  From dealing with paperwork to making the best cup of coffee, Sue helps keep our office running smoothly and efficiently.  She has adopted three rescue cats, Hank, Jake and Eddie.  Sue also has a special dog friend, Woody, and loves being outside watching birds, gardening or just simply enjoying nature.

Keely Clark
Client Service Representative

Keely has been one of our client service representatives here at Westmorland since 2024. They moved here from Ontario with their son Tobias in 2022 and now share their cozy home in Sackville with their bunny Sammy, two rescue cats Sprite and Loki, and Bernese mountain dog Koda. Keely has had a special interest in animals of all kinds since they were young and in their free time try to be out in nature as much as possible whether it's hiking, camping or spending a Sunny day at the beach.

Sarah Baker
Client Service Representative

Sarah is one of our client service representatives who will greet you as you walk through our doors.  She is passionate about both animals and family. At home, she cares for two cats, a lovable lab/hound dog and a rescue snake. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys camping, spending time at the beach, and making the most of the outdoors with her husband and daughters. Whether she's helping pets and their owners or creating memories with her family, Sarah brings warmth, care, and enthusiasm to everything she does. In Loving Memory Krinkle
Greeter

Krinkle had came to the clinic daily with Dr. Stephens where she would provided affectionate greetings. She didn't talk a lot but would give us the occasional "woo-hoo!" when she really had something to say. She was a very special little dog, she will be dearly missed by her family, fellow staff members and clients.
